Aimee Is it just me, or is so much more said without words. It's not just the parable of "actions speak louder than words" which is astoundingly true. Sometimes even the shortest clip of music can say more than a thousand words, and pictures. It can express more emotion than a simple kiss. It can scream a million things at once, and not all of them are right and none of them are wrong. A piece can begin out slowly, almost lamenting and suddenly through a tempo change or an addition of an instrument it's a spritely dance that is nearly celebratory. As soon as it turned exciting it can calm itself and yet expressing itself differently, almost melancholy until it fades to nothing.
Sometimes words just can't cut it. There just aren't words to describe your emotions. So actions are brought forth. It could be an insane frenzy of passion, or a carefully thought out declaration of love. It's a look from across a room or a reassuring hand upon anothers. It's a tear dropped out of fear and concern and another out of relief and joy. It's a stray eyelash removed, or a punch thrown (preferably at a punching bag). It's the inner strife seen upon the face.
So much is said without words, because the words can't always do the feelings justice. Sometimes, "I love you" doesn't even touch the iceberg.

unhinged the nocturne from borodin's second string quartet

dr. kartman gave them the highest compliment of any student group the whole festival and it was well deserved. maybe every note wasn't perfectly in tune but the mood was absolutely amazing and it created this silent slide show in my mind of the night me and chris first really hung out. just the complete beauty of the night looking back on it with regretful eyes. i had to leave the masterclass and i sat outside by the fountain and cried. something that beautiful can't escape tears.

the observant ascetic (fra angelico) he desired her, but she was recalcitrant. he was content to be near her even though he could not have her in the manner that his instincts were pulling him to. she did not see this, though.

she was troubled.
this in turn troubled him

he spoke to her, in a soothing but inquisitive tone but she greeted his entraties with silence.

he sat, perplexed.

a moment...a moment more.

he reached his hand across the distance between them placing it upon her shoulder hoping he could convey through his touch what his words had seemingly failed to put across - that he had not come to her simply for the satiety of his own animal cravings, but because to him, for reasons he could never hope to describe, she shone like guiding stars

the weight of the things that worried her made her as hard as stone to his touch in spite of her delicate frame

after a moment, she pulled away. he protested silently, his palm open in a gesture of resignation,
but he understood.

sabbie hi daria.

thanks for the apology, its always lovely when someone says sorry and actually means it so i appreciate that but in this instance sweets, its not needed.

we're talking about heaps different things i think.

but thats cool. once outside of its maker, art, no matter if that be words, pictures thoughts or ideas, become the public domain and you_can_read_whatever_you_like_into_this

find beauty in this day, the past is not something you can change.

love sabbie
