what_motivates_you
flowerock It can be hard to feel truly motivated even when you really want something or have more than one excellent reason to do whatever it is you are or are not motivated to do...

Today I saw a squire Pulling their little squirrel body up some vines, at first I was excited to see a squirrel so close and so calm... they weren't calm they were slow. They were slow because they were injured. Their hind legs limply hanging and swaying as they pulled themselves up into some vines and clung there. Probably hit by a car. Worse.things are happening and critters of all species are suffering, dying, also thriving... but i saw thiS one little squirrel... what can this one me do to be strong and lead myself and others into a better now and a better future?

past Because of the typo, I imagined a noble young squirrel, injured in a practice joist (an accident, the neighbourhing grey squirrels said, but the red squirrels know the truth) being some days later knocked off his chair by his adversary, crawling then climbing away from the little teeth of his family's enemies. he has, no he /had/, no stake in their fight. Now, knowing the grey squirrel will rush up to the branch to taunt him as he struggles for seeming safety, he struggles just so. It's an elaborate batman gambit. His family's made an uneasy alliance with a hawk, who, against its better nature, sits obscured by the leaves. Once the grey squirrel finds his branch, the hawk will strike. Only a hawk is a faithless friend to squirrels: both grey and red will be eaten. 150227
