it seems like it'd be kind of unsettling to live in california. i mean since its the state that's this place everyone else in the country wants to run away to, to get away from whatever. mistaking climate for off-balance chemicals or just familiarity as the main cause of complication. so there’s this promised land for modern america, but things still turn to shit there and then it’s just like oh this is it.
