I was looking at teacup chandeliers when i noticed that at some point you must've signed on, making yourself visable to be for the first time in something like two (very long, painful) weeks. I won't deny it--at first i was tempted. But the little_voice_of_reason (that wasn't around the day i sent the email =0/ ) made me re-consider, so instead i occasionally glanced over at the list, but otherwise kept on doing the same thing before i saw you there. I think you were playing the_waiting_game with me last night, because you figured i'd come running to you, but i tried to tell you weeks ago that i was changing for *my* greater good.
Besides, there was a time not that long ago when i never had to beg for your attention--so why should i start doing it now?? Thanks, but no thanks. I think the_waiting_game is going to be much harder for you, because you're the one who is making it into a game, and for me, it's about REAL changes in my life.
I miss you, but not enough to go back to the old me--she had no control and let everyone manipulate her. I'm not that girl anymore.

The waiting game is quite horrible over the internet.
Whether it's an email which, after sending, you immediately regret and have to wait tedious hours, days even for a reply...
Then, there is instant messaging where your words haunt you from the screen. Sitting there. You wish you had worded that differently, but it's too late now, and you have to wait, seconds, sometimes even minutes for a reply....
Waiting.
I'm waiting for you know.
Just do not do that to me again, please?
