they say that outer space is empty and cold. Cold it is, but in that cold lies the wonder of creation, of infinity, of a million possibilities and infinite wonders. Drifting I slowly freeze, pondering them all. I'm not sure where you're going with this, skinny. What is your point? Is it to shock and awe?

my cosest views of it have always been the most skewed. an unhealthy relationship with a particular plane. but it's always there for me, even in the midst of mayhem.

i remember laying there next to the bathtub crying i remember wanting to get into the warm water, but not wanting to move i remember wishing it was all gone, all of it and i remember contemplating how could i get through one minute without one bath one day one night after awhile, we forget how to lay on the bathroom floor and find new views of things after awhile, we forget how to be happy in our own skin

sometimes i like to sit there or lie there and stare off into space i just like to think (though it interrupts my morning schedule) and the cold floor wakes me and the green walls soothe me and the wood interests me and you would think me strange if you knew me

something was wrong and i knew it i was so cold i didn't want to shower i wanted its warmth but getting out would be hard i kept hearing something at the door once twice, thrice wrapping myself up and getting out to check shivering hard in the middle of the summer this is wrong this is silly but i can't seem to think clearly enough to figure out why just getting in and out of a bathtub is so hard standing in the shower is hard how much energy do i have left in my body? what if i fell? the bathroom floor is so cold...

I fell asleep there once as a kid. It was the "little" bathroom; which is more of a breezeway between the back door and master bedroom of my parents' place. Back then,my sister and i had that room and shared one--seemingly huge at the time--queen size bed, because my parents were cash strapped from buying a new home and add another room downstairs. My sister loved to go to sleep with music. LOUD music. And i was not a happy camper about that. She put on her huge earphones and turned on the stereo (i giggle when i think of electronic technology from those days =D ) and i would've been able to hear that crap she was playing a mile away. So i went into the bathroom with my pillow and curled up into a little ball on the floor under the sink. I was hoping she'd feel guilty and turn off the music, but nope! I fell asleep there. At least it was warm; the floor was carpeted, and since we rarely used that bathroom (we always kept the second door that led to the backdoor closed) the radiator quickly warmed up the tiny little space. The next day my parents found me in there and weren't too amused with my sister. They put an end to her nighttime music listening.
