Some say that altruism is not so; good acts are only undertaken so as to feel good about oneself, and nothing is really altruistic. The reverse can be argued just as simply. Every act is altruistic, but some people just have a really warped idea of benefaction, and have deluded themselves into thinking that they aren't out to help others. It is really only a matter of perspective. If you believe in altruism, then altruism Is. |
