it was surreal to walk down a hall that I passed seemingly hundreds of times a day. normally filled with the clutter of an overcrowded office building. but suddenly i see these wooden boxes filled with enormous cream colored gourds. all in varying shapes of daisies. so beautiful like crying out to be painted or made into dazzling appetizers. and then the cucumbers in plastic tubs. thick in every every possible length, width, even curved, green dildo-like. who brought these, I asked around. as usual they appear from some random angel, who was quite different from the one that dropped off the box of Godiva. I saw some of my co-workers chosing their veggies. i carefully selected mine as those times when i would look for a perfect pumpkin at the patch. yes i found it and how glorious it would be to devour it.
