good beat, mellow guitar in the background... nice funk sound. reminds me of the old days of drinking bacardi rum 151, eating more hits of acid than a human should and smoking as much pot as i could inhale, as quickly as i could inhale it, sitting in my car out in the middle of nowhere backroad... lights off and the only things lighting the way is my lighter and the radio.. oh yea.. and the glow of my bowl when i hit it. :-D
totally fucked up.. out of my mind, nodding my head to some sweet tunes, and watchign the world around me spin into a picture of indifference.

This is a wonderful mix done by Aphex Twin. It is a mix of a NiN song. You can find this song on Aphex twins "Mixes for Cash" album or off of one of the NiN remix singles. the one with "Reptilian" on it, i think.
A wonderfully mixed song. some humdrum elevator music with what sounds of low tune machinery, buttons, and sirens of a machineshop... mixed with a quiet horn of some sort in the background and twinkly piano`ish sounds. a horror seems to approach near the end of the song. like a sworm of bees swollowing everything all the surrounding sounds and the hollowed white nois sound of something growing from within, speaking in it's repetative babble.
very fitting for this moment.

Finnish... no idea what is being said. I once read the lyrics after being sent to a forum by one of their website admins. I cant recall what the interpretation is but, from what i CAN recall, it is somewhat mobid and somewhat lovely.
it's a great mix of metal meets techno. i suppose if one were to sum up this song, you could say that they sound of rammstein with a good bit of techno mixed in and what exists for metal, is alot heavier. the vocals feel to hold alot more conviction as well. a very pissed off tune.
at this point in time i feel so fucking mentally exhausted and a good pissed off tune is what i need to keep the wheels turning.

i woke up today, about 5 times, and when i finally rose to the day i was hungry, hungover, and my brain still hurt fromthis mental exhaustion i have been shoving myself through. This is classic PF. Classic PF at at its best. a crying lead guitar surrounded by the monstrous movements of happy drums, bass, and synthesizers that are enveloped in melancholy. David Gilmore voice of the time when he was still youthful. That melodic voice of his that children dream about as their daddy sings them to sleep. The voice of lullaby. The words speak aeons to me. only to be emphasized by this lullaby voice. it uplifts, only to calm at halfway, bringing about that certain fear that could only be brought about by something that we have not yet conjured in our minds. the lead guitar weeps.
the sound of echoes ring loud midway. speaking in the language of night. the language spoke by what is there, what is unknown, and never seen. cryin birds, screamng beings with no names. the albatros. as the synthesizer and bass slowly roll in, everything quiets. drips.
uplifting once more from the slow serenity that was, reaching upbeat like a battered army of war, thought left beaten, only to rise again to a glorious day of triumph. the beginning is now the end. the words speak loudly and true. David lullabies me to rest.
