Imagine you're on a ship..part of a crew. The plan is that you'll trust in the leadership of this vessel: do your part, work hard, follow instructions and enjoy the common bounty thereby obtained. But 2 years into your sailing voyage, the ship is in dire shape, the crew is hungry, and have had to give up their prized possessions in port after port, just to eat, while the captain and the other officers, who ordered the seizure and sales, sit in their quarters, looking down with scorn, aloof from the rest, gorging themselves on the best of the take. The ship wanders aimlessly, with no real mission, no real course, save to get the officers to land with their booty and engineer an escape from an increasingly mutinous crew. And isn't it odd, how much more more severe the tone of these traitors gets while barking their selfish commands..knowing that the majority is becoming less inclined to following orders? Isn't it just like a wagon driver flogging his tired and hungry horse as it begins to stubbornly resist his selfish, cruel demands? Isn't it just like our leadership today? Arrogantly demanding their right to rule when the tree of their selfish, stupid rulership has produced such sad, disastrous fruit for most of us..and for the planet we depend on. I hear that more than one such story ends with the crew throwing the officers overboard and taking the ship back. When do we get to vote for working class candidates? When do we vote to have the metal detectors at the capitol buildings torn down so the leadership has something to be afraid of if they don't serve their people well? When do we stop doing what we're told, take out the garbage and figure out where tf we're headed? Like..SERIOUSLY figure out how we get out of the mess these arrogant spoiled children have gotten us into..WITHOUT their input, their time wasting, petulant drama or their committee fellating ways this time. Sounds like a happy ending to me.
