I had this whole essay planned. A peek through the mirror, into an alternate reality. I thought if I could describe it well enough I could bring it to life. Or at least give it a chance at life. Then I realised that it would only make her sad and/or guilty. I'm not her One. Goodness how it stings that he finally learned how to treat her right by following my example. Then again, if I can't be her happy ending, I suppose helping to create it is enough. |
