i live in a city where the city employs people to poke the bodies on the sidewalk to either 1) move them along or 2) clear out the body last week i was walking on fourth avenue to get lunch and saw a body passed_ouy on the sidewalk head and torso covered in blankets a stream of dampness on the sidewalk from the crotch of the jeans i could not tell if the person was alive or dead i just kept walking i am afraid of becoming numb i am tired of crying |
