it is something i would like to do, something i would tell myself i would do, something i would enjoy doing, but i probably wouldnt do it simply because of the time it would take and im to good about sticking to long term (or semi-long term) projects.
but if you want to do it, then more power to ya.

I could easily and effortlessly fill a notebook with doodles and scribbles, but if I had to write words, I think it would end up being very very odd.

that sounds like a very good idea... i often find myself not journaling because i think i don't have anything to say... then i put myself to the task and all sorts of things start gushing out... i just don't know if i could keep up a quota like that... but it is mayhaps that this summer i will resolve to write at least a page every day... i just need to find the proper notebook first... if a notebook doesn't speak to me, i don't want to give it my words...
do you do mostly journaly stuff, or is it whatever writing occurs to you at the moment?
would like to peek inside the notebook. ;)

I have three journals...or is it two.
I've always found it easier to just type, rather than handwrite. It may have something to do with the finished state of my hand writing, since I'm never that happy with the finished product.

And I should have said that the journals I do have, don't have anything in them.
My last notebook was full of all the poetry I had collected so far and then had posted here in blatherdom.
and I haven't started another since the first one.
