today I set my clock fast 3 more minutes fast last night and thus arrived to work ontime, in the midst of a sunshower when I lived on the hill, I would climb out every morning to watch the light show... moving to the valley, surrounded by trees and houses, and an hour's walk from any place to see... it feels as though I lost a very dear friend the day I lost my bench on the hill but driving through the sparse weekend morning traffic, the clouds parted orange and gold, and brilliant streams ran from the horizon, somewhat lifting the stiffness of my limbs, and replacing it with a fluidity of thought |
