They call me Truth Life doesn’t care about our feelings. It happens regardless of whether we are happy or sad. It continues whether we are sick or well. Life continues even when we die. So the excuses that we make may invoke the sympathy of our friends, if we have good friends, our lovers, if we have good lovers, our family, if we have good family, but it will not invoke sympathy from life. You will age. You will eventually die. And all of the time you are complaining about the hardships of life, more life will pass by. You will look in the mirror and see the wrinkles deepening, and you will realize…Life didn’t stop. It didn’t wait. And you wasted it thinking that it would stop while you complained about yesterday.

We can learn from life, from the changing of the seasons, from the slow melting of the snow, and new blooms in the spring, from the heat in the summer, and leaves falling in autumn. With every moment of destruction, there is something being created. Something old must pass away for something new to take its place. There is the same amount of matter in the universe as it has always been, so everything must be recycled. If we take from that any wisdom at all it is the realization that we must suffer occasionally and that we must not fight with it, but make room for the new. We should not be the thing that stops things from changing because life will happen regardless and people will always be inconsistent. They will always fluctuate. They are made like everything else in this universe. They are meant to change. We should enjoy it while it lasts.

Life doesn’t care about our feelings, but by the simple gift of living, we can change our circumstances. By the simple gift of living we can make something new. It is important to remember that possibility. As long as there is life, there is a choice. And the more we obsess about hardships or predictions of calamities, the more we waste time to change them or overcome them. No person or no thing will remain constant enough to always give any person happiness. Not even ourselves. But as we grow we will realize more and more that true happiness lies in two things: the realization that things change and it is divine and the knowledge of the Self which is also divine. There is no greater gift that life gives. May we all find that peace.

Lemon_Soda You are a part of life, so, yes life does care in some capacity. If I may, perhaps Truth is pointing out that too many people expect sympathy or unrealistic favor from things that have do direct, conscience element. Perhaps a clue that skulking and wailing about the condition of life, even to oneself, does nothing but make us skulkers and wailers. 090107

They call me Truth yes LS...that is exactly what I was saying. Thanks for seeing through the semantics and finding the real meaning behind my words.

I was also saying that life is a gift, and the fact that you are alive gives you the opportunity to create new experiences. Wasting your life away holding onto and complaining about the obstacles that occur in your life changes nothing and keeps you in a state of mental and emotional slavery. While you enslave yourself, life still continues, because it must.

tourist Do We care about the Life of an individual Cell inside (or on the outside) of Our own bodies?
Or of the Nano-scale members of that Cell, which Labor for their own ends?
Unzipping DNA into RNA and Painstakingly Reproducing copies, or Manufacturing Protien Machinery for Incomprehensive Ends.
I would like to Believe that their Life is Fulfilling and Happy, but I Don't really go out of My way to look after THEIR Welfare, and so I can't really expect the Universe to cut Me any Special Slack.
What Life Does as a Whole most Likley has Little to do with Me as I Precieve Myself to be, or as the Collective effort that is the Ground for My Manifestation.

Oh! By the way...
My apologies to the Hard working Members of the Liver Collective,
For giving you all that Scotch to Process. But in My defence, I did try to Water it Down.
