ravens are my favorite birds something in their nature seems very calculating and deliberate, more so than other birds, it makes it easy to anthropomorphize them as is the case in a lot of northwestern Native American mythology in deference to my hispanic heritage, i decided that corvusimparatus (mexican raven) would be a good choice for an email address i must admit, it's a bit of a misnomer though as the imparatus is one of the smaller ravens. i suppose if i wanted to name myself more accurately i would go with the name "corvus brachyrhyncos" (crow) or "corvus corax" (common raven) they're the bigger creepier birds found more frequently in literature |
