I agree with most of what that man just wrote except for one thing: The critics have just as much right to express themselves as anyone else. I have never said otherwise. That also goes for responding to the critics. Express your frustration, express your indignation at someone writing something that you don´t like. That IS your right and that IS free_expression. By all means express that discomfort and prepare for more expression. Wanna clam up? Have at it...don't want to? Fine. Such is free expression and calling it pissing on someone´s leg is simply your interpretation. Soes this make you an idiot? Some might say so, I would say it makes you typical of the type of person that is pervasive throughout the online world (and with good reason)...the type that has completely overlooked some possibilities of this virutal wonderland in favor of others. PReferring a clone of the real world way of seeing things to something further off of the beaten path. Well fine...so be it...have at it..but know that I´ve been down the path of an ¨online society¨ that lives basically by the rules of the real world and ya know what? It doesn´t do this wonderful second reality justice in my opinion. We can say what we want and we get to completely disconnect ourselves from emotional commitment to each other...why do we need more of it? More pain? Naww if I express and you take it badly, you took it badly...if you liked it, great..shalom baby. Now if you wanna keep preaching socio babble, I´m sure I can keep going. I love to write and this...believe it or not..this is writing as much as it is righting and in either event and to whatever extent it IS free_expression and should be accepted as such if not respected for its content. If you can´t accept THAT, well such is your right, but having explored the alternative to TRUE freedom of expression, I strongly recommend against it. Now preach socially responsible censorship all you like, some things should be expressed, but all things WILL be expressed in one manner or another, including, in this case, your displeasure with my expression. Long may it wave.
