Because I couldn't help myself. I really liked this poem. Here you go, desire. I hope you don't mind. ((your soupish blatherskite)) she breathes in, calm. deep. filling. though, she never needs to breathe out. i doubt her lungs know how to anymore. that's where he comes in, you see. as she sits, holding the air in her collapsing chest. lungs heavy and weak. slowly he breaths in, pulling the air straight from her lungs so she may continuing living, thriving, ever so slowly. smiling at the world, feeling she has made some sort of progress in her life. but they just turn their heads, and look the other way. in she sinks, hiding within herself. are you alone, girl? she breathes in, so exasperated crushed_by_life. why does she bother? the air remains in her lungs panic consumes ((cacophony)). breathe out, she screams to her body. but she is lost in fear until the boy saves her once again. pulling her with his breath, lifting her spirits to soar. she sits alone in the dark room on her bed with the sheets turn up and sneaking over onto the mattress, scratching like chalkboard screeches. she must tuck them down.ohgod. but the energy to do so escapes her. don't speak. it will just be a waste of words. she is a waste of words she is a waste of life. nonono. don't say that. please don't say that. she rises from her spot on her bed, but in defeat sinks down, back against the wall, curling into a small lump on her cluttered floor. a nail scraps her back but she ignores it. i want to feel you breathe me. calm. deep. filling. oh, one more. complete. and then soco sings, And dreams came around you in a hazy rain You opened your mouth wide to feel them fall. trickle down. tickle your tongue. can you feel me fall?
