hiding behind a wall It's good to know you own blather now, daf, and your opinion is the only one that matters, and your voice is the only one that deserves to be heard. Congratulations on turning this place into Facebook and singlehandedly killing everything that was ever beautiful and unique about it while running off the last few people who weren't just recycling the same diatribe over and over again.

That you fail to see the hypocrisy in shoving your beliefs down everyone's throats while denigrating them for letting their "masters" do the same thing is really something. For all the empathy you claim to have (and to hear you tell it, you're the only human being alive truly capable of understanding and feeling for your fellow man), you've rarely demonstrated any of that famous empathy for anyone other than yourself. And for all your nice words about the beauty of blather on happy_birthday_blather, you've shown a stunning lack of respect for what was once a sanctuary unlike anything else on the internet.

For twenty years now, you've been telling us the person you are on blather isn't who you really are. It's a performance. A mask you wear to show the rest of us who we are while hiding your true face. But at a certain point, what you choose to show people *is* who you are. I wonder if you ever think about that. I wonder if you ever think about what your legacy to this place is. I wonder if you ever stop to think about all the people you've hurt in the pursuit of some deeper truth you're convinced no one but you could ever understand or appreciate.

Here's a bit of truth: you're the main reason almost no one ever writes anything of substance here anymore. They don't want to be here after what you've turned blather into. dafremen First off, yes, I was a complete asshole..and the timing couldn't have been worse. Apologies for that. I didn't know there was grieving going in your life, other than the usual dragging yourself over the coals of relationships.

Beyond that..yes unhinged, your elitist attitude and that of those like you (who I worked with for many years) pretty much killed any empathy I have for your inability to see a mirror when it's presented to you.
