Okay I am getting this from: "The Natural Diet Solution for PCOS and Infertility" - it is a book..

The main difference between EVOO and Olive Oil is that EVOO is not subjected to tremendous heat during processing. EVOO smells a lot more pungent.

Process for Processing Various seeds to oil (I am going to just list the steps and not the processes):

1. Cleaning - mechanical process
2. Cooking - seeds cooked up to 2 hours at an average of 120C to destroy cell walls.
3. Extraction
a) Expeller Pressing
b) Solvent Extraction - using HEXANE at -65C
4. Degumming - lecitin removed, true gums and polysaccharides and valuable nutrients removed.
5. Refining - Caustic Soda used to remove free fatty acids. Nutrients also removed.
6. Bleaching - removal of chlorophyll and beta-carotene. Produces toxic peroxides.
7. Deodorization - steam-distilled under pressure and high temperature. Vitamin E removed. Causes reorganization of the atoms in the molecules of the essential fatty acids - creating fatty acid breakdown products - which is foreign code to your body.
8. Preservation -BHT, BHA, TBHQ are added (unnatural antioxidants) - increase shelf life and defoamers are added.

That's why you can drink EVOO from the bottle and not die, and if you drink OLIVE OIL that has been processed you might as well just go drink ****ing gasoline!

EDIT ** and to make it even better, take your bottled oil and heat to 320F and you get:

1. toxic trans-fatty acids
2. cyclic fatty acid derivitives
3. cross-linked fatty acid chains
4. dimers
5. polymers of fatty acids
6. cross-linked triglycerides
7. bond-shifted molecules
8. molecular fragments
