Last week I saw a piece of legal paper stuck in some tall grass, and i snatched it up. What I read tore my heart wide open. A letter, composed by a man, to his ex-wife. I read his grief as he begged his former lover to let him see his child again, how it broke his heart that she had full custody. He hoped she was well, and he asked her to not let his son forget him. He asked her not to move away, and to let him be part of his son's life. I wonder if she threw it away because she didn't care, or if she lost it and felt bad about it. |
