oh birdman, and then they get all stinky and thats icky to sit on a train next to a goth with spiky hair wilting and coat soaked and pvc squidging in the sun all stinking like... well, a fashion victum.
really, beautiful fashion can turn quite ugly if your not careful.
and if you find yourself in full velvet and corested in the middle of summer, well, i think you have to look at your fashion values.
i blame england. thats where this all started and its freezing there all year round.
i wonder what goth would have looked like if it started in queensland or, indeed, arizona?

i would imagine it might look like a vampiric mutation of something with a little bit of a cowboy look, but hopefully without ever encountering the mullet cut
a little denim, maybe some mesh, silver accoutrements to be certain, maybe not black but grey or even white would be the prevalent colours
but mostly, i figure it would look like a sinister version of whatever the fashion was during the most romanticized period in that place's history

if your talking queensland then it would be blunstone boots and short coloured shorts and flannelette shirts.
blunnies and stubbies and flannies, to those REAL goths, and usage of the correct terms would show the real goths from the weekenders.
sunburnt and dusty with the term 'ay' at the end of every question and most sentances ("this is the one we need, ay"
and theyd all drive around in utes.
red wind and delicate spirits be bollixed, we'd all be drinkin' beer.
