arwyn always the right policy. nonviolence is fine for a lot, if not most, issues in life, but nazis? fascists? punch them. punch them hard. beat them til they're bloody. My grandparents fought to end fascism and punching modern day nazis is the right way to honor them and their sacrifices. 181008

unhinged wrong

punching nazis is why trump could claim there's violence on both sides at charlottesville. punching nazis makes you just as bad as the skinheads that go around beating minorities with baseball bats in wisconsin

the reason why the civil rights movement consciously chose nonviolence is because as soon as you start punching people you have absolutely no right to claim moral authority for your cause.

punch the nazi
multiply the nazi sympathizers

arwyn Moral authority and nonviolence have gotten us to where we are. What is it going to take for we liberals to stand up and physically remove these people from power and physically stop these hate groups? There are no nazi sympathizers because those are nazis, that's how this works. I've already been verbally assaulted at walmart, I've been accosted at my home, when is it appropriate for me to fight back then because the baseball bat by my door says the next asshole to accost me at home is getting bludgeoned. 181008

unhinged i've seen the video of a masked anarchist blindsiding richard spencer and punching him in the face while he is being interviewed for no reason other than the fact that they don't like what he is saying; i live in a city where anarchists lob molotov cocktails at police on black fridays and may days. these actions aren't going to stop the proliferation of nazis. and yes there are sympathizers out there; there have always been white supremacist sympathizers in america. the people that watched lynchings and didn't say or do anything to stop it. the people that watch that video of richard spencer getting punched in the face and see a guy that was minding his own business and got punched for no reason...i am not a nazi but when i watch that video that's pretty much what i see. it's a first grade tactic to hit someone you don't agree with. emotional violence gets out of control fast. and neonazis have caches of automatic weapons all over this country. punching them in the face seems at the very least dangerous to me. maybe i'm a coward or maybe it was because i heard over and over again 'never hit first' as a kid. maybe it's because i have a conservative father.

i know for you it is different because you live in a place where bigots are normalized and you have been personally attacked. but if you think violence is the answer in this scenario you are actually just bolstering the other side. they will start bringing the assault rifles to the next inflammatory 'protest' march they organize to piss off people like us and the cops will let them because our police forces are infiltrated by white supremacists and are all about protestor brutality anyways. violence begets violence and our side will lose because we won't be carrying guns.
