so i've been trying to remember my childhood. on the phone again with my mom today- she doesn't seem to remember much either. i'm sunk! but i asked her what was i like, mom? the best word, she says, is happy-go-lucky. tell me a story, mom. she says that i absolutely loved to go to storytime at the library. and you can imagine that we sometimes sang little songs, christmas carols or something, at storytime. i would sing really really loudly, get really into it, you know? the librarian glance over, smirking, geez, tone it down Amy. oh, lord. i'm so embarrassed. you be embarrassed too. |
