Not to in any way derogitorigatify the beautiful flowers_from_safeway. I love you. 1. Which is worse, to forget something that really happened, or to remember something that did not? 2. Would you die for a stranger if you knew nothing about this stranger except that he or she was six years old? 3. What if there were five of these strangers? 4. Are we good, stupid people, or bad, intelligent people? 5. Who are you, and why? ponders

1. To forget something. I do both with frightening frequency, and and I'd rather have too many stories than not enough. They can always be edited out, but puppycrusher is usually the only thing that can reinsert them. (thank god for meat-based external memory.) 2. Nope. I don't die for anyone. Probably not even me. 3. Five nobodies is still nobody. I might feel bad later. Might. 4. We are lazy people who end up more stupid than we should be because intelligence takes work and is uncomfortable. I think that we're more good than bad, though. At least, it pleases me to think so. 5. I am Tree, because anything else would be uncivilized. To try to sum myself up would be to open the door to all sorts of vaguenesses and inaccuracies, much like making a map of chicago not only misses all the alleys and road construction, but also the feel of the lakefront, the smell of the streets. Zo I am Tree. And Why? Who else would I be?

1. Which is worse, to forget something that really happened, or to remember something that did not? How can we prove that anything really happened anyway, choose your memories and beliefs and make them real. Getting back to the question, it's worse to remember something that did not happen, if you choose your reality too much, you'll just get very annoyed when it all falls over. 2. Would you die for a stranger if you knew nothing about this stranger except that he or she was six years old? On the one hand, they could have a fatal disease, and my death could allow them to live.. on the other hand, they could have gone on to be the next hitler, and my death would cause many millions more. Either way, I would not choose to interfere with naural law unless I knew more about the situation. 3. What if there were five of these strangers? Same answer, same reasons. 4. Are we good, stupid people, or bad, intelligent people? who's we? I think good stupid people are better than bad intelligent ones, but I can't say for sure; they're both capable of the same atrocities, and the same wonders, just for different reasons.. 5. Who are you, and why? As you said in another life, I am me. There's not much I can add to that, and as for why, if only I knew that, if only I felt some calling; I'm in an awkward position, I feel that I can achieve anything I want to, but the will's not there; I'm damned lazy when it comes down to it, I also ponder far too much, for instance, I didn't take part in the War Protests, though, in principle I agree with the anti-war movement, I just don't think it'd make any difference; why should the politicians take any notice? we shouldn't need to protest, we live in a democracy, right? yeah right. ahem.. anyway.. yeah, I'm not sure why I'm me, at a guess, I'd say that I'm here to incite, encourage and teach others, but not to take an active role in doing whatever it is I'm supposed to do.

1. to remember something that didn't happen is to create a falsity, to forget something that did is to lose a truth. i think i'd rather the latter, less actively wrong, more mistaken. 2. yes, probably. 3. yes. 4. we're both, all at once, that's what people are: good and bad, smart and stupid, plus all the other things. what we are is people. 5. i'm neesh, cos though my parents very ambitiously named me aneesh, nobody wants to say names that have two syllables when they can say one. i think i'm neesh cos i'm very lucky, and neesh is a very lucky person.

1. personally ((meaning that this does not apply to everyone and every situation)) i feel that it is worse to forget something that did happen. you would never know if you remembered something that did not happen so why not live a life full of memories, good or bad, instead of a life full of empty spaces. i'd rather have false memories than no memories at all. i'm sure that my brain would subconsciously invent creative memories, so at least i would be entertained. besides, i can't see the purpose in living if you don't remember what you've lived. 2. the way i see it. . .i've lived for nearly sixteen years and this kid's only lived for 6, so i hope that i would die for them only because someone who has lived for 6 years deserves to live for longer. the burden of choosing not to save the kid's life would weigh too heavily on me to exist normally anyways. 3. so then yes, to an even greater extent. obviously, 5 people's lives are worth more than my insignificant one. and from a selfish perspective, it'd be a great way to go. not only would i get to leave this miserable place, but there's a heroic element to it. 4. Are we good, stupid people, or bad, intelligent people? --honestly, i haven't decided yet. but who am i to decide anyways? 5. i am a dreamer because i've already tried to be everything else and it really wasn't working for me. i am nothing because no one sees me. i am everything because i can see myself. i am ellyn i am endless i am desirue i am ella elly ell i am me.

1. Which is worse, to forget something that really happened, or to remember something that did not? I decided it's better to forget something that really happened than to remember something that did not. That way at least you can hold onto the truth of events. Life is remembering the pines, hiking up the mountain, remembering a fight, crying over a song, doing a math test, buying groceries, masturbating before bed, washing your dog, sharpening a pencil, just waking up from sleep. We are all the same but we just experience a selection of all possible events (in the universe) in only one sequence, so I'd like to hold onto my personal pattern of reality as well I could. Of_course, the remembrance would then be just another experience that constructs your life, but I'm going to let this go now. 2. Would you die for a stranger if you knew nothing about this stranger except that he or she was six years old? Nope. 3. What if there were five of these strangers? No. 4. Are we good, stupid people, or bad, intelligent people? All of those. Secondly, who's "we"? 5. Who are you, and why? I'm ClairE, for many reasons, most of which I am trying to figure out. I doubt I'll get past the questions to the answers, but it's fun trying.

1. It would be worse to remember something that never happened because it is abnormal, whereas forgetfullness is normal. As a non-believer in normality, I do not know if I mean that; I just wanted an opportunity to use the word "whereas". 2. If I had the chance to die for a stranger I could have done so a thousand times by now. Even though I hear of people who are suffering and dying every day, I am selfishly thankful that I am not in their place. Anyway, this question strikes me as unreasonable. 3. Oh bother, now there's six of them? I would rather die than be bothered by six little brats. Then again, if I encourage them they will just keep multiplying. 4. Both, and various combinations thereof. 5. My name is illiterate because I can't read it. I like to permeate the logical with the bizzare to uncover hidden layers of meaning. Or something to that effect.

1) i cannot recall 2) yes, because i am very selfish. it would get me off the planet at once, and it would even seem to others that i'd died a noble death. as though any death is not noble. how death must feel, the way we slander its charecter with spiteful depictions. who can the reaper turn to if it needs a hug? i am not good at answering questions with concizion, no matter how ztimulating they are. 3) oh, "you betcha". please, tell me where can i find the five of them? 4) we are bad good people, we are stupid intelligent people. we are not good bad people, nor are we intelligent stupid people. 5) i am the proponent of it_all_exists, because it does. in some other realm, you are the propenent of it_all_exists, and i am cerzhurult the nineteenth.

5.) A.) I’m still in the process of figuring that out, when I know I’ll let you know B.) BC I was so cot up in figuring out who other people were and why they were the way they were (I now no longer care) 4.) Have you ever read Dumbth by Steve Allen ? 2.) It depends on what this six year old is dieing from, say some medical illness that apparently only I can save her/him from? Than yes I would gladly Give my life for this child. 3.) as I stated previously, it depends. 1.) Am I forgetting a good memory or a bad memory? As for making up a memory, I think that’s a bad idea all the way around, yea to day dream is good, but if I were to pass my daydreams off as reality that wouldn’t be good.

1. It depends. If what I forgot was that I had in fact watched the rerun of the buffalo testicle episode of Fear Factor, and what I falsely remembered was that I was the second coming of Christ, then I'd say it would be worse to falsely remember. But other sets of examples will support the opposite. 2. It depends, both on how I'd have to die and when I was asked to die. But the fact that the stranger is a 6-year-old child, if anything, makes me less inclined to help him. It's as if he's saying, "hey, you'd better save me, I'm just a cute little innocent kid." Personally, I can't stand that sense of entitlement. 3. Oh fine, now that there are 6 of them I guess I just have to die. Do these strangers also have cherry red cheeks, doe eyes and dimples, and do they speak with lisps and walk on crutches? 4. Both and neither. 5. Earl Grey Jesus, because that's the name I've just thought of.
