the work crews are out and about working (although who knows when they will get us back our water and electricity...) and i had to think, why the heck did they rename the cable company xfinity? really? xfinity? and then i was enroute from my grandparents' house, where i took a shower, and there was a truck with vanity plates: XTROPY 8, and somehow that made a lot more sense. perhaps the driver is an ex-xfinity worker or something, commenting on corporate chaos. it was today's thought-of-the-day. but not to be confused with anything terribly deep. |
