today i saw an arrangement of sunflowers. they were all dead and wilting and mixed in with big long twigs, they curled around the flowers. the bricks behind mirrored their shadow and the shadow spread out like spiders legs.
i picked up the bright and cheap flowers i was purchasing and imagined painting a modern day van gogh, sunflowers i'd call it.
they took my fan away, the one that was in my window. do you think every time i flick the switch in my kitchen wall that my fan begins whirring away in a rubbish tip twenty miles away? i'd like to think so. it sings for the rest of the rubbish.
i always wanted to make something of myself. what is it about people that makes them want to 'be someone'. i always wanted to be famous. what did we aspire for before the concept of fame existed? well i'm big int he world in my head, and i suppose that will have to do.
