This is the state I am in. Without sleep, my body doesn't function as well. I'm squinting my stinging, burning eyes to see clearly, and my tired body is barely moving at half-speed. Even my thoughts are slower...it takes longer to dream if I dream at all. Somebody please sing me to sleep; comfort me. Somebody please hold me until my eyes shut, and the lids start to tremble.
