Is that a reference to the pope-electing thing? (I am good with references today - I caught a reference to H. P. Lovecraft, which put me on speaking terms with the nerdy clique at work.)
But it's kind of interesting because there's never been a South American pope. I don't think I'll convert to Catholicism, though I might convert to the metric system once they elect a suitable Argentinian leader.e

Some people say that Lovecraft's whole elder-god mythology (Cthulu and the gang) reflects his racism, but then why did he give so many of them incomprehensible superhuman powers? Inferiority complex maybe?
(This has even less to do with the pope, doesn't it.)
