+ that we buy way more materialistic items than we ever need
+ we hang onto way more materialistic items than we ever need
+ moving materialistic items is way more than i ever need
+ if you are keeping cards, love notes, and whatnot momentos ... in case you ever have to break up... or leave the relationship... it is much easier to throw one box out than to constantly discover one card here one card there after the other after the other after the other
+ if you have an urge to buy something ... ask yourself 3 times over "do i really need this" chances are you wont need it ... and if you still feel you need it .. ask yourself if i had to move into a studio apartment with few items would i bring this with me ... if so perhaps its something you should consider buying ... however id say ask yourself 3 times "can i live without this" just to be sure
+ when moving from a whole huge house to a small apartment you begin to realize how basic the necessities are that we as humans really need in life ... and as you are reminding yourself of this ... try to be open to sharing more of the necess. with others whom are less fortunate instead of buying yourself items that you want but dont really really need ...
+ you are not your house, car, clothing, tables, chairs, antique furniture ... you are not your art supplies, your tools, your wall hangings ... and if you have to let these things all go for whatever reasons ... youll be ok .. you really will ... try not to be a slave to your possessions
+ dont be afraid to reach out to others .. family & friends even a stranger on a phoneline when you really need someone ... and try to remain sensitive and compassionate when someone you are a friend to is going through a break up or general hell in life for your time will come someday when you may need a shoulder and understanding that you may dominate a conversation based upon your world falling apart but that is ok .. cuz everything balances out and someday you too will have to be an understanding shoulder
+ understand that what i now know might not even be what you need to know but hey ... someday you might & perhaps you will
+ is that ... what i now know will constantly change, the knowingness might not be grand realizations for sometimes the most important ones are small ... sometimes what i now know isnt really truly known untill youve lived it
