Questions that no one can really answer What exactly does our consciousness consist of? Could this actually be connected to another dimension? Chemicals may affect how we feel but there is still something stemming deeper that can consciously observe these feelings. 060816

Ptolemy DCLVIII Indeed. There *is* something deeper. Something ethereal that intangibly adjoins our physical body and mind. It exists outside the realm of proofs... outside the realm of tests and trials and laws and causality... it exists on a wholly different plane of whatever. Perhaps some will someday "upload their neural networks", but their sense of being will not be transfered along with it. Reality_is_not_a_calculation! 060816

DannyH How strangely serendipitous. I was walking to work the other day, thinking, what if consciousness was another dimension. I like that idea. Michio Kaku told me there's either 10 or 23 to choose from so why not? I think consciousness is either the 8th or the 17th dimension. Thinking thus did not get me to work any faster but it did make me more conscious of the journey. 060817

Ptolemy DCLVIII Are there not infinite dimensions? (I am using the term in an admittedly liberal sense.) Surely there are "dimensions" of bizarre character, dimensions which do not intersect/conjoin the dimensions recognized from us within this world? Whenever I have augured with Salvia D. I am intensely aware, for a moment, of the infinite infiniteness of everything. It is alienating and comforting all at once. 060817
