I've been to only one concert in my whole life, though I did get to see my favorite band.
To mark you as someone in the first several rows they handed out bracelets, probably left over from marking those hagard and old enough to drink at a previous festivity...
and though they were again used for elitism, segration, and other such things, they told everyone, "look, i'm up front, AND i'm advertising for a beer company."{{as the bracelets had the name of a brand of beer smeared before the turquiose}}

i know i'm in trouble when i go some place and they use bracelets. it is much easier to get away with underage consumption if the legal age people have a lack of marking as their identifiable marking. cause then you just kind of cover up yours...and no one really seems to care that much when you walk around with your sleeves covering your hands. which is usually why i choose to sit out in the parking lot and smoke a bowl before i walk in anywhere. it is all around a much more pleasant experience for me.
