Who asked me?
|
Everything2 has hundreds and hundreds of copies of this stuff already posted. All of today's posts contain nearly the same text, which further duplicates things already blathed elsewhere. Pretty spammish if you ask me.

Who asked me?

I'm surprised no one else seems irritated by this, considering the fuss everyone once made over figures such as Chrity, KX21, and Fuffle, etc.

To me, it's not just the quanity of copypasta, it's the low quality of the material to begin with. I disagree with almost everything said within it. The claims that a dog knows nothing of death and that it dies every moment are completely untenable. There is no knowing one way or the other. This holds for most statements in the Protoithikologias and Apologoumenas and whatever else. Do we really need another fifteen copies of these schlocky texts? I'm not proposing we resort to drastic measures, but these texts have been surfacing for a year and clearly are not going away simply by pretending they aren't there. I think I might compile them into a Meta as did the mysterious_gibberish organizer.

Perhaps... but on the other hand, gibberish (mysterious or otherwise) varies and can be turned into a game. I suppose there are pros and cons to both. Mainly cons, IMO.

even if someone gives you an explanation, it's going to end up being blather_is_blather anyways.
