free to do what I want, to display flagrant disconcern about what others think of me kind of like those people do who are looking for attention, except in a different disregarding authority, being careless, thoughtless an extension of my current atypical disconcern for my studies (girls aren't supposed to be unconcerned slacker geeks, apparently... look askance at a teacher telling them to study and proceed to ace the next test) but also, real freedom isn't just the appearance of not being concerned, it's actually not giving a shit about how you appear, so I guess the above description doesn't work freedom: it's on my to-do list dead poets society |
