| Syrope | it's odd how, at a time when many of my friends are standing in awe of the grown-up world, i'm ...for the first time... realizing that the world isn't as scary as my parents would have me believe. i smile to myself each time i merge onto a highway and don't almost hit someone. every time i make small talk with a stranger and they don't murder me. every time i plan something and it doesn't fall through. i suppose being set up for disappointment really does make the small accomplishments that much more wonderful | 040602 |
