In every society, we create words or phrases, or connotations behind words that are supposedly generally understood to be "rude" or "obscene" or "uncomfortable"...ect. We take it a step further than that and dictate who are allowed to say these words ...adults, but not children, one race but not the other ect.
What I find interesting are that these obscene words vary throughout a society, community, or even a home.
So share some words that are you know to be obscene,
or if a word is already posted, share an experience with that word in which you realized "hey...that didn’t go over well with everyone else"
or a word you heard was obscene and found it funny that such a simple word was obscene.

Interesting words...
"Lie"...This one girl in my class said that in her family, the word lie (which is such an everyday word to me) was obscene. They had to say "he/she told a story" not lie.
"Bye the way"...Even more interesting. This one is supposed to be obscene because "Jesus is the only way" so saying by the way was sort of blasphemy. I think I read it in Mya Angelou's "I know why the Cadged Bird sings."
