i hear the tub filling up, this revolving cycle, girls take the baths, boys take the showers. it's the gentle sound of care, of independant concern, this fragrance of lavender. beth puts stones in her water, she says it feels nice to scrub her skin. her water is so hot that it turns her pink, instantly. i like to see them walk down the hall, their long hair up in the turban, blushed cheeks, fresh, on their way to getting dressed. |
