At first, it's hard to wrap your head around. Not because the idea is complicated, but because our conditioning is so ingrained. And not just the conditioning which instructs us on life goals and common sense, but also the conditioning which makes us afraid of making errors in judgement. The conditioning which leads us into denial rather than assessment when our ideas and choices are made questionable. In so many ways we were robbed. Some that are almost unimaginable..until you being to entertain them. Then it becomes almost impossible not to see them. From there it is only a connection and another away before you realize the whole web can;t be a coincidence because it always funnels down to the same beneficiary. Whether it's education hierarchy, government structure, market dynamics or simply who receives most of the most coveted of human gifts: the admiration of the rest..it's always inherited money that takes the lion's share in the end. Here's just a sampling of how deep the rabbit hole goes and how far back in time: Take the myth of "market competition being good for the consumer." We all look at lower prices at the store as in-your-face evidence of this. But nothing could be further from the truth. In reality, the main beneficiary of a competitive market are the money lenders, the loan sharks, the inheritor and investor classes. The reason competitive markets are rotten for consumers is because competitive markets have as their object, the reduction of the other guy's income. The other guy just happens to be a consumer. And so as he goes down with the ship, the money guy steps in and encourages him to keep trying..loaning him money the entire time to keep the business afloat. Eventually, the money man ends up with somebody's land. Those are the only things of real value in this life: land and the days of our lives. The money men want all of it. But that's not all. As they approach investors or bankers, they reveal their business plans to the richies. The money lends to all players in the game, then waits for the victor to emerge. Then they use that strategy..but with bigger money. Suckers taken by the con man again. Sending our own children up to be "educated" in the art of impoverishing their own people at colleges run by richies. School Boards manned by richies and those in the middle class who fawn over them. Government run by richies. Why? What working class person has time or money to run for office? None. THat's a given. And this blathe itself is an ironic tip of the hat to yet another piece of this wicked web of selfish gluttony. We have a planet teeming with those who feel unseen. Mostly because we are all watching dead moments. Moments that have passed. And as more of these moments take up the hours of our days, there is less and less time to pay attention to those around us..to life as it is being lived. As a result, the competition for attention has driven us to more and more extreme acts, bigger demonstrations of power and control over vast human and material resources. And when those aren't available, a sponsor is sought. The money wins the lion's share of our attention whether we like it or not. Whether those around us like it or not. All because of our addiction to dead moments. And money, as it saw that control over the most compelling dead moments meant control over our attention and our minds, they realized that the only thing jeopardizing that control was something more compelling: life itself. So now our best minds have been pointed toward improving media to the point that dead moments are almost like live ones to the brain and we dissolve ourselves into the experiences of others..long passed and gone. In addition, taking away our oral storytelling and singing traditions cut out a huge amount of our social connection, diminished the unspoken and unministered education of our children in a thousand little ways. By the time we were all used to getting our education from books instead of people, from paid instructors instead of family members and neighbors, we in effect handed our minds over to whoever controlled recorded media, the educational institutions, the governing body. In almost every case that controlling entity was money. Now they had us looking to strangers for the truth instead of each other. Specialists. Thousands of years of common sense, history, science, art, lessons learned, replaced by s magician with a microscope, a microphone and some money. Wherever you look, you'll see who decides what our babies think and do with their lives. Those of you who are younger know you were handed a shit deal. This is all an orchestrated move. Don't think for a minute that old money hasn't learned from revolutionary lessons past. They like China's business plan. That's where they will lead us if we keep fixing their cars, cooking their meals, taking care of their children, roofing their homes, doing their dirty work and taking their money. They will bury us with our own hands..and squeeze the very last penny out of us before they start filling in the hole. When the public is your whore, it just makes sense to print some more. Because money by itself didn't mess things up.
