i find it funny that people get all up in arms when minorities are made fun of or are discriminated against, but when so-called "white-trash" or lower class white people are discriminated against, it's ok. just think of this: it's acceptable to call someone a redneck or white-trash, but not a darkie or some other "racial" term. i happen to think that white trash is quite racial.

Making fun of hicks is my worst prejudice. I think it's because I just don't understand that way of living. Also, hicks tend to be a prejudiced sort of people and that just makes my stomach reel. I should not bad-mouth them as much as I do, but Christ people, why you act do dumb?

Against white people. Against tall people. Against ugly people(shit, even I admit to that one) Against gay people. Against stupid people(but, that's ok cuz they arn't smart enough to get that you're dissin' them) Against angry people(why does everybody think that i hate them?)

funny though that the term "white trash" was probably coined by white people, probably in a place where it wasn't ethnicity but economics that drove the engines of mistreatment... parts of the eastern and southern US roughly around the Civil War era sound like the kind of places when and where even whiteness was no guarantee of civility [the signs in the shop windows used to say "No Blacks, No Irish, No Dogs]

It's funny that they grouped blacks and irish with dogs. Are they insulting dogs or black people?

Ohh come off it. You think acceptable prejudice ends there? Apparently you're not a geek, dork, nerd or loser. You apparently aren't a big-mouthed opinionated jerk with an attitude like yours truly...cuz let me tell you buddy. There's PLENTY of accepted prejudice out there. Just look at the person you look down on or dislike the most, then think about why you look down on them. There's the latest accepted prejudice...not necessarily acceptable...just accepted.by you.

i get very angry at myself sometimes... i see prejudices as negative stereotypes... but working as a waitress/bartender, i am exposed to such nearly every day... X group will tip badly... Y group will order hot wings and tip badly... Z group will hit on me and tip badly.. all decided before a customer is to their table... I try to fight it, and htere are exceptions, but what I wouldn't give to not have the stereotypes, prejudices, and generailities prove true quite so often...
