we know this sorespot. the bruise of sexual assault and blame, shame, and distrust. lay them down we are more than this body as object. there are people around us that know this and love us. don't let the poison destroy the light lay it down sex and love may never be connected for us the way they are for others. this heavy expectation in light of the past is stifling us lay it down it is ok to say no. it is ok to fight. it is ok to need and want and desire. these things are as valid for us as any other. give the heart space. let it breathe. let it be. lay it down |
