Anyone ever catch the freudian slip of the ages during one of dubya's speeches when he meant to say "war on terrorism" but it came out "war on freedom" considering the seemingly unchecked surveillance and arrest power he wants handed to the executive branch, that was apropos. and why did TX representative Tom de Lay involve the department_of_homeland_clusterfuckery in trying to track down a bunch of texas state congressmen who left the state to prevent a vote in an attempt to block a potentially illegal and/or unconstitutional congressional redistricting plan. The law accounts for only one redrawing of district lines following the national census every ten years, not every time you can reconfigure the state to best set partisan advantage the truth from a republican of late is about as easy to find as WMD's in iraq... speaking of which, How about finding out that the Blair gov't built a big piece of their case on some student's college thesis. and yet most of the major news outlets here have barely glanced over that fact.
