in the parking structure after the movie, some kids were playing grabass, or whatever exuberant youths do, and they were running up the stairs. first the leapfrog steps of the frontrunner, then the middlings, then the stragglers. i thought to myself, if this chase scene were real the stragglers would be eaten by zombies etc. but what is less commonly known is that the frontrunner also has a pretty poor fate ahead of him (it was a him in this case) because he runs right into it blind assuming that the chase is always coming from behind him. it's those in the middle of the pack who have the best chance of making it in the chase scene, if making it is even a good thing in the context the chase took place in.
