I'm just so frustrated. I'm only 17... and I'm working these long hours... and I need to, there's no way that I can cut back on them. And I'm sure that I'll get used to them. But right now, it's so hard. School is ok, atleast you get a breather every once in a while, and there aren't annoying yuppie fuckers breathing down your neck. I just don't know how much longer I'm gonna be able to deal with the coffee shop patronage without snapping. If you go to a coffee shop, here are some pointers to prevent espresso_rage: 1) KNOW WHAT YOU WANT BEFORE you approach the server. We don't care about your indecision. We don't care about what you've never tried before. And we sure as hell don't care about the chocolate craving you've had all day. 2) Be patient. If you want a quality product, it might take a little bit of time. 3) If it's late in the shift, you're probably the 1005th customer that your server has seen that day. You are not unique. You are not special. You are an additional $2.73 or $5.82 to add to a cash register. Nothing more. 4) Leave your fucking cell phone out of it. 5) Do NOT come in 5 minutes before closing and order 15 things. You will not be met favorably. 6) If your little bratty assed children cannot decide what they want, please remove yourself from the line and chastise them accordingly. 7) If you're in a bad mood, don't come to my cafe, unless you're absolutely positive that the moment you see my face your mood will immediately take a 180 degree turn for the better. 8) Tip. 9) I am only human, not unlike yourself. However, I am probably making less than you are, and taking more shit. Be kind.
