It's odd the way somethings can just remind you of your past. The sunsetting and leaving certain shadows in the area around you, or a scent in the air. A voice you swear belongs to someone, but when you turn to look, it's someone else entirely. I had a moment about a week ago. The shadows caused by the setting sun and the street lights made me feel like I was 14 again. It was probably one of the weirdest and most surreal things I've ever felt. I just wanted to stay out there forever. Unfortunately I had class. I think that was the slowest I've ever walked to choir in my life. I could just hear the voices of people I haven't spoken to in years. I left choir that night praying that I would be able to find that again, but I walked outside and the spell was broken. I honestly didn't know what to think. During that walk to class, it honestly seemed like I had a chance to make peace with the past... It was just one of those sunsets you didn't want to miss.... *sighs*
