I dont know how anyone could have written such a song. If it were angsty or a dirge or forlorn, then the idea of a 'tainted love' could make sense. I'd have written such a song long ago, if I could stomach it. But this song is inherently wrong. Catchy, it sings about 'tainted love' as if that could be a good thing. |
