Hey my new band's old name is "very", which personally I think is "very shit".
I need to come up with a good name quick, before they decide that its ok to keep very.
Its an alternative rock band, more serious than comedic.
My thoughts so far:

Postcard from nowhere
Journy to titan

if you're trying to get names from blather why not call it blather red, or blather blue. something like that.
otherwise, there were some band names i was coming up with that i was just fantasizing if i ever got talent and got a band together what we might be called.
but if you had that name, i dont imagine you would care if some other band did too. and if you did mind and got really big then i would feel semi-special having had a hand in the naming of it.
some band names i've come up with:

Lez Deppelin (if your band is a lesbian riot grrrl band)

I tried to convince them to call us either "The rubber band" or "Rage against Mr. Sheen", but they wouldn't go it.
And we're playing our first gig tommorrow night, so I guess our name is set in stone... I'm not unhappy with the name, really. Could be worse.

I play the guitar, but yeah, the keyboardist does do a bit of keyboard bashing (not with the stool though- yet) He broke one of the keys at the start of last gig, but with all the bashing it somehow fixed itself by the end :)
