................................................................................ I came to live with a stripper once. Both she and her sister were in the business. We met when she was in real_life mode - taking her son Col to daycare. She was jewish and i learned many things jewish for that time. I also learned that strippers are real people, too. Stripping was just a way to earn a living and was not to be confused with family, friends, or long-term goals. One interesting aspect was seeing the personality transformation as she prepared for a show. It was The_Strange_Case_of_Jekyll_and_Hyde revisited. Loving mother by day, business_bitch by night sort of thing. Any strippers i've met do seem to have a few more issues than most (our own kelli crane not withstanding). I suspect it has to do with coming to grips with whatever moral dilemmas the business presents. However, my amateur psychology doesn't begin to cope with that level of complexity... ³
