i did really well, but did not take first prize. i was among some incredible talent, and it was amazing to just represent in the room full of greatness. i was able to compile a list of bush cabinet members, their corporate ties, and something the kids could do right now to make a difference, and that was empowering. i plan to volunteer some time to the league of pissed off voters. i received a book at the event called:
how to get stupid white men out of office
and it details a well thought out strategy to dismantle the religious right's strangle hold on politics, and to have the progressives in power for sure by incrementally comign together and taking the power back over the next couple decades, the same way the religious right did in the seventies to put them in power today. i was much inspired.
