From
your
"
life
anew
"
part
,
i
can
safely
assume
that
you
enjoyed
your
icy
commute
to
work
,
most
likely
in
part
from
the
scenery
along
the
way
.
Now
,
how
about
swimming
to
work
during
the
appropriate
season
? ;)

it

us
have

i
miss
skating
,
though
my
friend
saw
some
people
skating
on
one
of
the
inlets
on
the
rideau
river
today
(
the
rideau
river
runs
paralell
to
the
rideau
canal
forming
an
arteficial
island
that
takes
up
a
good
portion
of
downtown
Ottawa
until
both
run
into
the
Ottawa
River
)

the
canal
is
open
in
its
entirety
at
last
(
i
think
it
happened
yesterday
to
coincide
with
the
start
of
winterlude )
though
i
can
no
longer
skate
to
work
along
the
canal
,
mostly
because
i'm
between
jobs
and
don't
live
near
the
head
of
the
canal
,
though
if
i
do
eventually
get
a
job
in
the
market
or
downtown
i
can
skate
from
school
to
work
...
i
could
even
skate
from
school
to
the
end
and
then
walk
to
the
archives
to
do
my
own
work
..
hmmm

this
might
be
a
fun
