What's the most selfish act in nature? I saw a mother grackle feeding her full grown hatchling who was perfectly capable of flying, had no need to nag her into feeding their need, but chose to anyway, out of habit. And some might think, "Oh, what a precious, loving, attentive and caring mother he had! So beautiful." Yea? What about after she's dead? What sort of bird will he be then? A thieving one? A suffering one? Or a dead one? What a selfish parental act it is to coddle our children clueless, isolate them from REAL struggle, then unleash them on society. Like a bunch of pointless, useless, spoiled grackles come to feed however they can among the working birds. |
