Thats it, I'm having a rant. *rant mode on* So there I was, getting up at 05:50 getting all geared up with my snowboard connected to my backpack, waterproofs, thermal shirt, t-shirt, hoodie, and snowboard jacket, boots and food for 10 hours. There I was, strapped in and locked down, ready to carve some fresh pow. Walked to the station at 06:20 got to Perth fine, caught my connection...Wanna know how far it got? ONE stop, it got TEN BLOODY MINUTES down the track and stopped "A bridge strike has taken place down the line, we're not sure how long we'll be delayed" great, so the train stopped at Dunkeld station. Nothing, for an hour and a half, absolutely nothing. The announcement came, finally "er, we've decieded to return to Perth, the train has had an engine failure". MOTHER OF GOD. It was now 09:30, had I caught another train I wouldn't have got there until 12. The slope closes at 3:30, whats the point. Im going to try again tomorrow. The most frustrating thing is that I could see the flaming mountain range in the distance. So everyone, say it with me: Scotrail are....SHITE! *rant mode off* I thank you.
